The National Labour Commission

Senyo is a Mediator and Arbitrator Class A, listed with the National Labour Commission (NLC) of Ghana.  As a Workplace Professional listed with the Commission, he has the role of advising and performing consulting services independently for Businesses and Unions.  His work has covered a wide range of Human Resources Management and Corporate Governance assignments.

The Judicial Service of Ghana

Senyo M. Adjabeng is the immediate past National Coordinator of the Alternative Disputes Resolution (ADR) Programme of the Judicial Service of Ghana.  His role was to Develop and Manage the Programme across lower and High Courts in all the regions across Ghana.  He also identified, recruited and trained Court-Mediators, and managed their Compensation, Benefits and Rewards systems.

Until his appointment with the Judicial Service, he was a Senior Executive of Pulse institute Africa, (formally Gamey & Gamey Academy of Mediation) a Management, Labour and ADR Consultancy based in Tema.

He has also been the Human Resources Support Specialist to Expertravel and Tours Ltd, a member of the HRG worldwide group, where he continues to offer advice and support to the HR function including Job Evaluation and Grading issues.

Educational & Professional Qualifications

Senyo holds a Masters’ Degree in Conflict Peace and Security from the Kofi Anna International Peacekeeping and Training Centre, a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and a Post Graduate Certificate in Diplomacy and International Relations.

He holds a BSc Degree in Minerals Processing and Metallurgical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi – Ghana.  He has professional qualifications in Mediation and Arbitration practice from the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services (FMCS), USA as well as an Executive Diploma in Mediation and Arbitration Studies from Gamey & Gamey Academy of Mediation.

Work Experience

As a Workplace Relations Practitioner, Senyo has served as a valuable resource in Industrial and Employment Law, Workplace Conflict Management and Organizational Capacity Building and as an independent Advisor, Trainer and Educator in the field of Industrial/Employment Relations (Labour Act 2003 (Act 651)) and Human Resources Management.
